OLYMPIC ICE STADIUM
This is certainly the most important facility, both in size and undertaking. It was built to host the on-ice sports disciplines of 7th Winter Olympics in 1956.
An artificially refrigerated ice-rink (30x60 m) is open both in winter and in summer. There are: a bar, ice-skating instructors, a solarium, and a playground for the children.
It is used both by the Sports Associations (Hockey, Figure skating, Short track, Curling, and Broomball) and for the tourist services, such as: public ice-skating and the "Ice Disco Dance", a sort of on-ice disco where one can dance-skate while listening to the latest hits.
Furthermore, there are the sports events that take place in the Stadium: Hockey, Figure skating, and several music shows. To improve the services offered to our customers, the Municipality have realized a covered stadium before it was "in the open air". Therefore weather conditions will not be a problem for the various events sports, cultural, folklore that will take place here.
