Tre Cime
Auronzo and Misurina in the summer
Auronzo di Cadore, Misurina and the Tre Cime di Lavaredo are the ideal destination for a relaxing and enjoyable summer vacation. There are three lakes where you can go canoeing, fishing, or rent a pedal boat for a romantic cruise on the water, or sunbathe on the shore before diving into a pool, chalets with enjoyable activities both day and night, and you can watch international competitions in rowing and motor boating.

All levels of mountain paths are available to you, as are mountain bike excursions, restaurants to experience the traditional local cooking, handicrafts, shopping, and cultural, folklore, sporting and musical events of all kinds organized by the Consorzio Turistico, that will surely keep you entertained. And don't forget the mild climate and perfect altitude: a breath of fresh air for the body and the soul.

Vie Ferrate and Equipped Paths on the Tre Cime
The step-ladder (scalette) trail: Toblin Tower with its dual peaks, a solitary figure in the broad amphitheatre which faces the great north walls of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, offering an exceptional panorama.

The De Luca—Innerkofler equipped trail: like a good neighbour, Monte Paterno's enviable position to the north-east gives it a fantastic overlook of the north walls of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo.

Mountain bike
PWe suggest an itinerary—chosen from among the 16 possible routes—which winds down the shores of the lake of Misurina, the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, and mount Sorapis.
At an altitude of 1750 metres, the trail runs along the lake shore, and is also ideal for a romantic walk. Even though the altitude change is not high, the trip is rather demanding. After about 5 km of ascent which often meets and follows some parts of the ski run, you will find to your right the chairlift at Col de Varda. If you don't feel up to the challenge of the steepest part of the route, you can take your bike on the chairlift and stop at the Col de Varda Refuge. Sportier types can continue climbing for a short but demanding detour up to 2080 m, to the Città di Carpi Refuge. From here you can either return to Misurina or take the long path, about 12 km, down to Auronzo.

The Auronzo cycle path
For a unique perspective on the lake of Auronzo, ride the shores of its crystal-blue waters on your bicycle. From the parking lot at Ponte Transacqua, you can follow the shore from one side to the other for a very relaxing bike trip.
Autumn Weekends
Soon, everything will take on the yellow, orange and brown colours of autumn. The crackling leaves will pave the paths. The mountains will burn red in the warm morning light. And above it all, the turquoise sky becomes limpid and wide in its uniquely autumnal hues. The aromas are those of the forest undergrowth, of mushrooms and ripening chestnuts, aromas that become the flavours of kitchens warmed by the fires of the hearth. This is the fall: a new perspective on the treasures of the Dolomites.

From the second weekend in September and for all of October, you can stay in select hotels for a very special price.
