Trekking: Faloria Sorapis
The Faloria area offers a multitude of splendid outings for keen walkers. The easiest walks lead from Rifugio Faloria or Rifugio Tondi towards Cortina or Rio Gere (n. 212, 213).
The most demanding are often vie ferrate and lead to the summit of Sorapis, the imposing mountain that rises up behind M. Faloria. Two excellent itineraries are Punta Nera and Cengia del Banco, and the two Sorapis bivouacs, Bivacco "Slataper" and "Comici", are also not to be missed. A shuttle-bus leads from the top of the cable car at Mt. Tondi.

The Alta Via N.3, otherwise known as the High Route of the Chamois, crosses Monte Faloria on its way from Villabassa in Val Pusteria to Longarone.Coming from Rif Popena it joins Faloria at Passo Tre Croci and continues along path no. 215 to Rifugio Vandelli. From here it crosses Forcella Cadin (n.216 e 223) to first reach Tondi di Faloria along path no. 213, and then the Punta Nera col along path no. 215. It then continues along the fantastic ledge Cengia del Banco (242) to Bivacco Slataper.
