The Cinema-Theatre Eden, with 280 seats, screens the latest successful films and hosts important cultural and social events; it is also the seat for meetings dealing with social, cultural, tourist, and promotional topics attended both by local residents and by the guests of Cortina.
A number of other initiatives are proposed by the G.I.S. in cooperation with the town Council of Culture to make the staying of those who choose Cortina for their holidays a pleasant one, but also for Cortina's residents. In fact, the G.I.S., the Council of Culture, and the cultural workgroup organise theatrical and musical events, addressed to the residents mainly, to animate the in-between season. Their name being "In-between Season Events"
The theatre is equipped with air-conditioning system, comfortable seats, toilets and access for disabled citizens, digital dolby surround system, satellite connections for projections, VHS, BETA CAM, U MATIC projections, slides, congress equipment with table and portable microphones, recording system.
