THE EMOTIONS OF THE OLIMPICS There will be eight news-reels and the movie “Vertigine Bianca” fully restored for the occasion by Istituto Luce, that will be played non-stop on four maxi-screens that will be placed on the Corso d’1talia, to live the emotions of the ’56 Olympics again.
CINEMA E SPORT During the Olympic week, Cinecittà Holding will host a Sport themed film review.

Cinema Eden - Istituto Luce presents one of the great film that are dedicated to the Olympic adventure. The movie, Vertigine Bianca shot in Cortina in 1956. The screening will be followed by the Levissima Olympic Cortina Award that will be presented to the legends of sport “in white”. During the ceremony the Europcar Car Beauty Award will be presented.

CAR BEAUTY CONTEST the most beautiful vintage cars from the fifties and sixties will be on parade through Cortina.
Organization
G.I.S. organizes top-sport events of both habitual and occasional kind. It is worth mentioning the Italian and the World Archery Championships - Country Specialty - that were respectively held in 1997 and in 2000 with the co-operation of "Piave di Belluno Archer's Club", and the final game for the I.T.U. Winter Triathlon World Cup. The latter is the sport competition in which constestants contend for victory by non-stop running through foot-racing, mountain-bike riding and long-distance skiing. G.I.S. has these and other sport venues to its credit and, not accidentally, it has been awarded remarkable acknowledgements by sport federations and the very contestants, too.
