For a truly unique and illuminating experience, visit the open-air museums of the 5 Torri at sunset, when the famous Enrosadira lights up the Dolomites in fiery shades of red and the area is immersed in quietness.
August 13th and August 18th you can visit the 5 Torri museum in the company of Professor Paolo Giacomel, an expert on local history who will bring to life the story of the Great War fought at high altitude.
After a fascinating encounter with history, the Lorenzi family await you for dinner at the Scoiattoli refuge, where you will have the opportunity to sample traditional Ampezzan dishes, revisited with flair and imagination.
The Scoiattoli refuge and the 5 Torri open-air museum can be reached on foot or by chairlift, which for the occasion will operate from 19.00 until 23.30. A shuttle bus service will also be available.
Please note that the museum visit, transport and dinner must be pre-booked at the Scoiattoli refuge. The Italian war stations will be illuminated for the occasion, but it is strongly recommended to bring a torch for the walk through the trenches.
