Falzarego 2008 – From the Great War to a united Europe

In the first week of July 2008 the Lagazuoi 5 Torri area will host a great event to commemorate the  90^th anniversary of the end of the Great War. The refuges and restaurants of the Lagazuoi 5 Torri - Giau area will take part in the initiative, offering their guests “il Piatto dell’alpino” (“the Alpine soldier’s menu”). Clients will be able to order a substantial surprise menu consisting of meat, side dishes and first courses. In fact, each host will interpret the menu according to his own creativity and the specialities of his own cuisine. The offer is valid for the whole week (from  28 to 6 July). In this way you can sample dishes that are always different according to where you decide to stop.

 For the week from 28 to 6 July the hotel restaurant La Baita is offering an exceptional package including history, gastronomy and wellbeing, so that you can enjoy an all-round experience of the event and the mountains.
