Mari e Monti week

Contrasts can make an experience truly unique.

Imagine yourself at a dinner in the cosy warmth of a mountain refuge 2,750 metres high ...from the windows you can see the spectacular fiery sunset on the snow-covered Dolomite peaks... ...and at the same time you can enjoy scampi and Boletus mushrooms, washed down with a good wine.

Strange? Bizarre? No, this is the perfect formula for a new and exciting experience.

In the week from 10th to 16th March, Guido and Alma of the Rifugio Lagazuoi will propose their Mari e Monti menu, (in which ingredients from both sea and mountains are to be found in the same dish).

A particular union of fragrances and flavours that will pleasantly surprise you.

First course

Pilau rice with scampi with dressing and
Boletus mushrooms.

Main course

Fillet of sea bass fines herbes on a bed of nettles and morsels of beef flavoured with juniper, accompanied by puree of carrot.

Dessert

Mousse of fruits of the forest yoghurt.

Those booking half board via internet who show this printed page will be offered a bottle of wine, mineral water, coffee and a tot of grappa.
