Uniforms

In the Austro-Hungarian army all the military specialities wear the same uniform.

Different corps can be distinguished from the equipment, the colour of the collar tabs and the speciality badges.

Officers wore caps of the same shape as soldiers but manufactured in a finer fabric with a cockade covered with gold tinsel and the Imperial monogram embroidered in gold.

Tunics were similar to those of the troops, without shoulder-boards, of a more elegant cut and finer fabric.
