Built in 1905 when the Falzarego Pass was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the hotel is at a height of
2000 m
. and lies within the skiing territory of the Upper Badia Valley, Cortina d'Ampezzo and Arabba.
It provides a shuttle service, and a ski service including ski hire, repair and maintenance. The rooms all have private bathrooms and a direct telephone line. Half board includes a breakfast buffet and dinner with a choice of menu, in addition to a rich vegetable buffet, pure spring water and a wine cellar stocked with excellent quality wines.
For the guests, theme evenings are organised: home made grappa evenings, candlelit suppers, typical cheese tastings.
Available to guests is a large Finnish sauna and a fax service. The hotel is equipped with facilitated access for the disabled and a lift. Animals are accepted.
