The Dolomites Way (La Strada delle Dolomiti)

The Lagazuoi 5 Torri area lies in the heart of the Dolomites, between the valley of Ampezzo and the Badia Valley. Easily reached, it is crossed by the Dolomites Way (La Strada delle Dolomiti), an enchanting passage between passes and alpine valleys.

Construction on the road was started at the request of the representatives of the Austro-German Alpine Club of Bolzano and Merano and at the behest of the General Staff of Vienna.

In 1860 a section of road linked Cardano and Nova Levante through the Val d'Ega, continuing past the Lake of Carezza and Costalunga Pass as far as San Giovanni di Fassa.

The road thus connected the Fiemme and Fassa valleys and continued along the Pordoi and the Falzarego to Cortina d'Ampezzo.

Subsequently, stretches of road were laid over the Passes of Tre Croci, Sella, Campolongo, Fedàia and Giau.

The Dolomites Way gives you access to delightful landscapes surrounded by mountains that are unequalled anywhere in the world.
