Welcome
In just a couple of minutes the new four-man chairlift takes you from Rio Gere to the top of the Cristallo pistes at Son Forca. These are famous for being the "birthplace" of Alberto Tomba.

A state-of-the-art artificial snow making facility now guarantees perfect snow cover from November to mid–April.

The piste at Rio Gere can be used for national competitions and, together with other pistes, has been used by National Teams for training during the World Cup circuit.

The Valgrande chairlift takes you all the way up to Forcella Staunies and also has a half-way station. Expert skiers can continue to Staunies (3000m) to then ski down the famous black "Canalone Staunies", the steepest piste in the Dolomites.

Links
The pistes at Cristallo can be reached from the village Rio Gere, located 7km from Cortina. Ample parking facilities are available here. Rio Gere can also be reached by skibus.

The Cristallo pistes are linked to the Faloria area at Rio Gere.
