RIFUGIO POMEDES (2303 m) Punta Anna - Chairlift Pomedes Privately run - 31 beds - (open in summer and during the winter skiing season) Tel. 0039 0436/862061 Getting there: by car (in summer only): from Cortina take the SS 48 towards Passo Falzarego; after Pocol turn off right (signposted) and keep right at the next fork for Rif. Duca d'Aosta. Continue from here by chairlift to Rif. Pomedes. By chairlift: from Restaurant Pietofana take the chairlift to Rif. Duca d'Aosta and continue to Rif. Pomedes. On foot: from Rif. Duca d'Aosta follow path no. 420 (altitude gain 210m - 45 mins – descend via ascent path) directly to the refuge. The Refuge is the starting point for the Via Ferrata Giuseppe Olivieri to Punta Anna, and for the traverse along Sentiero Astald. This path follows a series of ledges (cables protect its most exposed sections) beneath P.ta Anna and leads to Rif. Dibona (1.30 hrs).
