Falcade - Photo by S. Zardini
Welcome
Falcade, where "love" rhymes with "good Humour".

Some of the most important Dolomites peaks contour the village: Pale di San Martino to the south, Marmolada to the north and Civetta and Pelmo just in front of the valley creating breathtaking background for the winter sunsets.

The big glade where the village is located represents the great asset of the district: cross country ski rings in winter (7 km) and mountain bike and easy walks in the summer.

Tourism in these districts started in the 60s with summer retreats. Now, the ski arena takes the big role. Only 7 km from Trentino region this ski area stretches between the two regions: 100 km of slopes, 27 ski lifts, planned snow throughout the area, 2 snow park for snowboarders, 60 km of cross country rings. Other entertainments include snow-tubing, motorsledge, snow shoes, ice rink, playgrounds on the snow, music in the refuge, après ski.
