The history of local crafts is older than the tourist industry and, even having such ancient origins, local artisan still today pass on their tradition from father to son.. The "Associazione Commercianti" - Traders association of Cortina - is involved in activities regarding the interaction between economy, turist promotion and mercandising.
Craftmen's association of Cortina d'Ampezzo was born in the 1982, thanks to a small group of artisans. Nowadays the Association has 137 members with a wide range of activities and services.
