On 4th October 1904, at the foot of the 5 Torri, the Hotel " Cinque Torri” was inaugurated, later becoming a Rifugio (Refuge). For the last 100 years it has been the desired goal of several generations of mountaineers from all over the world, attracted by its spectacular surroundings and by the romantic atmosphere that reigns among its old walls.

Europe
, before and after the Great War, have frequented it after coming back from their excursions on the 5 Torri, or, like Vittorio Emanuele III, during a visit to the front.
Opening times:
Only during the summer season from 16/17 June. Overnight stays are possible but only for the lucky few, since there are only 16 beds. It is advisable to book well in advance.
