With its enormous Dolomite walls the Lagazuoi has forever acted as a formidable sentry post to Passo Falzarego, Valparola and the legendary Fanes Kingdom.
From the summit of Piccolo Lagazuoi – easily reached by cable car – the sweeping view encompasses three Tofane, a great Lagazuoi, the dreamy Cime di Fanes and the splendid Cima Scotoni, mirrored within the tiny Lagazuoi waters deep below.

The view also encompasses the Cinque Torri, Averau and Nuvolau to create a panorama unsurpassed elsewhere. Hidden corners lying there, just waiting to be discovered by walkers, mountaineers and skiers alike.
The Piccolo Lagazuoi tunnel, excavated by the Italian Army during the First World War, is an excellent example of these secret delights, as are the fantastic traverses across the Cime di Fanes moonlike landscape.
