"Borgate tra le Malghe" is a project involving three families dwelling in the hamlet of Marmolada, in the heart of the Dolomites UNESCO, not far from the centre of Falcade, for a long time devoted to the rental of apartments. We've decided to work in synergy organising a perfect example of widespread ospitality. "Borgate tra le Malghe" is an innovating idea of hospitality which opens the doors of our houses to you to live the experience of a familiar welcoming warmth. You can rent a flat for few days or for longer periods, but above all you can choose to spend an holiday in complete freedom. If you prefer to do it by yourself, in the apartments you can find everything you need to cook; if on the other hand you'd love to enjoy a complete relaxing holiday you can book our half-board or full-board treatment in collaboration with Farmhouse Piccola Baita. Furthermore, you can taste our healthy dolomitic breakfast before exploring our beautiful Biois Valley! "Borgate tra le Malghe" aims to offer an alternative to traditional tourism based on welcome, typical products, wellness, tradition, environment surrounded by the pure nature of the Dolomites; our intention is to offer an unforgettable and unique holiday. Farmhouse Piccola Baita is only 1 km far from our apartments, in Sappade; it offers tasty dishes based on traditional recipes and typical products produced by the owners themselves. Its modern wellness centre, at your disposal, completes an unbeatble offers which combines high-class gastronomy, sport and nature, rest and relax.
Apartment Auta is situated on 2 different floors, for a total of 45 square meters, with independent and ample access at the first floor; in excellent conditions, is equipped with a wonderful wood-burning stove with bench in authentic alpine style, kitchen-living room with sofa and TV on the first floor; bedroom with double bed (and possibility to add a small bed), bathroom with windows and Shower/tub, terrace on the second floor.
Ideal accomodation for a couple or for a couple with baby; pets are accepted. Equipped with kitchen tools and appliances; costs included and free supply of sheets and towels. Outside there's a green area with a playground for children and a private and undcovered parking space. Situated in a sunny and panoramic view, calm and easy to reach, almost 1.5 km from the centre of Falcade. Pub, food shop, newsstand, haberdasher's, pharmacy, laundry within 1 km.
Apartment Auta is located just 5 minutes by car far from the departure station of the ski lifts of the San Pellegrino ski area (Falcade - Passo San Pellegrino) in the hamlet of Molino; from here, the guests of Falcade can reach easily the centre of the Alpe Lusia-San Pellegrino (the former Trevalli) ski area, a modern ski resort of the Dolomiti Superski straddling the regional border between Veneto and Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol that offers more than 100 km of perfectly-groomed ski slopes and 24 modern ski lifts. The Alpe Lusia-San Pellegrino ski area, composed of the ski resorts Falcade, Moena and Passo San Pellegrino in the Municipalities of Falcade, Moena and Soraga, offers 3 snowparks, amusing boardercross and timed slopes, a huge inflatable mattress at the Sanpe Snowpark, warm and cozy mountain refuges and après-skis, ski kindergartens with training grounds and babysitting service with professional and qualified instructors, sledge, snowtubing and bobsled tracks, the amazing "Col Margherita Freeride Park" (the only official backcountry ski area in the Dolomiti Superski) the suggestive "Skitour delle Emozioni" and the amazing "Pista degli Innamorati" (10 km), one of the longest ski slopes of the Dolomiti Superski that starts on Col Margherita at the remarkable height of 2513 m and ends in the centre of Falcade (1140 m). Falcade, in addition to the decennial tradition connected to the alpine skiing, offers a wide range of proposals as for the cross-country skiing: on the "Piana di Falcade", the wide plain in the centre of the village, is located the efficient Pietro Scola Cross-Country Ski Centre that offers more than 10 km of cross-country ski tracks, 2 of which are equipped with a modern lighting system that allows the practice of this sport at night; nearby the cross-country ski centre, guests can enjoy also an amusing ice skating rink. In the Gares Valley there is furthermore another cross-country ski centre with 5 km of tracks that wind through the wonderful woods of this untouched natural paradise. Falcade and the Biois Valley feature also a wide range of cultural proposals and places of interest: near the departure station of the ski lifts in Falcade there is the Murer Museum, a permanent exhibition set up in the atelier of Augusto Murer (1922-1985), one of the most important artists of the Italian Postwar Art. In Falcade Alto, guests can admire the ancient church of SS. Fabiano and Sebastiano, an exquisite example of alpine gothic architecture. In the hamlet of Caviola is located the ancient church of the Madonna della Salute, included in the list of the artistic heritage of the Belle Arti Accademy of Venice. In Vallada Agordina, guests can visit the thousand-year old church, an Italian national monument since 1894. In Canale d'Agordo is located the Pope John Paul I's Museum and the most ancient building of the valley, the "Casa delle Regole"; don't miss a visit to the beautiful Gares Valley with its Biotope, the ancient village and the impressive Comelle Waterfall. Falcade and the Biois Valley feature furthermore more than 300 original barns, the so-called "Tabià"; this small architectural masterpieces are literally scattered throughout the territory in such a high quantity that this valley as no equal in the whole Dolomites. In summer, Falcade and the Biois Valley offer a wide range of hiking paths, Via ferratas, climbing walls and mountain bike trails; the nearby mountain passes San Pellegrino and Valles makes Falcade a popular destination also for cyclists and bikers.
