Hotel Belvedere is located just 700 meters far from the departure station of the ski lifts of the San Pellegrino ski area (Falcade - Passo San Pellegrino) in the hamlet of Molino; from here, the guests of Falcade can reach easily the centre of the Alpe Lusia-San Pellegrino (the former Trevalli) ski area, a modern ski resort of the Dolomiti Superski straddling the regional border between Veneto and Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol that offers more than 100 km of perfectly-groomed ski slopes and 24 modern ski lifts. The Alpe Lusia-San Pellegrino (the former Trevalli) ski area, composed of the ski resorts Falcade, Moena and Passo San Pellegrino in the Municipalities of Falcade, Moena and Soraga, offers 3 snowparks, amusing boardercross and timed slopes, a huge inflatable mattress at the Sanpe Snowpark, warm and cozy mountain refuges and après-skis, ski kindergartens with training grounds and babysitting service with professional and qualified instructors, sledge, snowtubing and bobsled tracks, the amazing "Col Margherita Freeride Park" (the only official backcountry ski area in the Dolomiti Superski) the suggestive "Skitour delle Emozioni" and the amazing "Pista degli Innamorati" (10 km), one of the longest ski slopes of the Dolomiti Superski that starts on Col Margherita at the remarkable height of 2513 m and ends in the centre of Falcade (1140 m). In the Gares Valley there is furthermore another cross-country ski centre with 5 km of tracks that wind through the wonderful woods of this untouched natural paradise. Falcade and the Biois Valley feature also a wide range of cultural proposals and places of interest: near the departure station of the ski lifts in Falcade there is the Murer Museum, a permanent exhibition set up in the atelier of Augusto Murer (1922-1985), one of the most important artists of the Italian Postwar Art. In Falcade Alto, guests can admire the ancient church of SS. Fabiano and Sebastiano, an exquisite example of alpine gothic architecture. In the hamlet of Caviola is located the ancient church of the Madonna della Salute, included in the list of the artistic heritage of the Belle Arti Accademy of Venice. In Vallada Agordina, guests can visit the thousand-year old church, an Italian national monument since 1894. In Canale d'Agordo is located the Pope John Paul I's Museum and the most ancient building of the valley, the "Casa delle Regole"; don't miss a visit to the beautiful Gares Valley with its Biotope, the ancient village and the impressive Comelle Waterfall. Falcade and the Biois Valley feature furthermore more than 300 original barns, the so-called "Tabià"; this small architectural masterpieces are literally scattered throughout the territory in such a high quantity that this valley as no equal in the whole Dolomites.
