Mountain Restaurant Baita Gigio Picol

The Restaurant: Restaurant Baita Gigio Picol is located at the arrival station of the chair lift Molino-Le Buse; it offers an excellent local cuisine in a cozy and comfortable ambiance.

The Specialities: "Pastim" is the most typical product of the Province of Belluno; it is a dish made of spicy minced pork and beef meat with some pork lard, salt and pepper; every Dolomitic valley has its own recipe for the Pastim, which can be consumed both raw and pan-fried or grilled; Pastim is excellent if consumed in a bun, served with polenta or used in the making of elaborated dishes ("Tocà da Boia", meat sauce for pasta and much more).

Curiosity: Refuge Gigio Picol is an excellent rest place for skiers and excursionists because of its central position.
