The Sellaronda Ski Tour (also known as the "Four Passes Ski Tour", written also Sella Ronda or Sellarunde) is the most famous and beloved ski tour of the whole Dolomiti Superski area: it is characterized by 40 kilometers (almost 25 miles) of wonderful ski slopes, always perfectly groomed and by the astonishingly beautiful landscape of the Dolomites UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. An useful tip for those who try the Sellaronda Ski Tour for the first time and from the hamlet of Malga Ciapela at the foot of the Marmolada: try to reach the last mountain pass within 15.30, otherwise the way back to the car will be difficult since the lifts of the Passo Padon could be closed.
