Plan, book and enjoy your Winter holidays

When the snow falls, the Cadore Dolomites gift special emotions to live a Winter of sport and relax. Ski Area San Vito is the point of reference for those who love skiing and snowboarding. Settled at the bottom of Antelao, Cima Belprà and Cima Scotter mounts, in front of Pelmo mount, the Ski Area dominates the valley, in a panoramic and sunny position. There are many difficult and easy slopes for everybody, a playground for children and many bars, where to refresh. San Vito Ski Area is easily reachable by car or by skibus.

For cross-country skiing lovers, Cadore is an unmissable appointment. At Passo Cibiana, there are challenging and marvellous loops, in the silence and peacefulness of the forest, where the bravest ones can taste their ability. When the loops are lightened, it's also possible to ski under the stars, at 1530 m on the sea level, surrounded by the magic of the mountains.

Ski mountaineering is becoming more and more widespread and practiced, specially from those who are looking for silent places, away from the crowded ski slopes. Renting the right equipment for your safety and following an alpine guide, you can live extraordinary experiences. When you reach the destination, your sacrifices will be rewarded.

In Winter time, go on walking in the mountains! Thanks to the snowshoes, a flat device resembling a racket, which is attached to the sole of a boot and used for walking on snow, it's possible to explore nature, following the same summer pathes. Snowshoes let you reach the refuges which are open from December to April, enjoying a day in the open air.

Do you miss riding your mountain bike? Don't worry. In the Cadore Dolomites you will ride even in Winter. The new fat bikes are bicycles with big black wheels and an electric pedal assisted cycle system, which helps you to ride easily and more comfortably in the snow.

Don't forget the sledge...In the Cadore Dolomites there are not slopes dedicated to sledging, but, with a bit of caution, it's possible to sledge down the beautiful routes that take to the refuges.

If you are looking for strong emotions and white thrills...Passo Giau will satisfy your dreams. With skies or snowboard at your feet and a kite that pulls you on the snow, it looks like flying. This is snowkiting and is becoming more and more widespread in Italy.
