CortinAteatro is a series of cultural events organised by Musincantus and the Municipality of Cortina d'Ampezzo with the collaboration of the Teatro Stabile del Veneto. CortinAteatro organises events of music, opera, theatre plays and activities for children to enrich a holiday in Cortina with meaningful cultural experiences.

PROGRAMME 2021

From 17th July to 10th September, the second summer edition of CortinAteatro is on with 16 events ranging from music - from opera to jazz, from musical theatre to choir music - to theatre plays.
CortinAteatro is conceived for different target audiences, including locals and international tourists, experts and amateurs, adults and children. The aim of the cultural festival is to create a cultural offer intertwining the tourist offer of Cortina.

A bit of history

CortinAteatro started in 2020 as a continuation of the project C.I.M.E., the cultural festival organised by Musincantus in Cortina in 2019, with the addition of opera music, music at altitude and theatre plays.
All the events of CortinAteatro are of the highest quality, involving some of the most famous artists of each discipline (including tenor Fabio Sartori, soprano Francesca Dotto, saxophone player Federico Mondelci and actor Paolo Rossi) as well as rising talents of the Veneto Region.
A great deal of attention is devoted also to adapting each event to the surrounding environment, in order to make art a means for a new interpretation of the environment.
An example of the integration between MusincAntus and Cortina d'Ampezzo is the video produced with Cortina Marketing and Associazione Gelsomina for the countdown to the World Ski Championships Cortina 2021.
