Cortina Dobbiaco Run

Cortina Dobbiaco Run "Across the Dolomites," on 02 June 2024 is one of the most anticipated races on the national running calendar.

The route retraces the old railway that connected the two localities, through breathtaking landscapes, immersed in an unspoiled nature.

It starts from Corso Italia in Cortina d'Ampezzo and, after 30 km, reaches Dobbiaco's Grand Hotel Park with a time limit of 5 hours.

Slightly uphill the first part, with striking tunnel passages and small bridges that seem suspended in the void.

The Tofane and Croda Rossa can be glimpsed to the athletes' left. Reaching the maximum altitude of the Cimabanche Pass (1530 m), the descent begins, which will take them alongside Lake Landro, and shortly afterwards, to their right, the participants will be able to admire the imposing and stupendous Tre Cime di Lavaredo, an undisputed Dolomite symbol, known throughout the world.

Continuing the descent they will encounter another alpine beauty, Dobbiaco Lake, just a few kilometers from the finish line, which, as is tradition, is located in the splendid Grand Hotel Park.
