Beethoven’s Olympus

At 8.45 p.m. on Sunday 19 December, at the Alexander Girardi Hall, the series Nell’Olimpo di Beethoven (In Beethoven’s Olympus) makes its debut in Cortina, with a concert featuring Jae Hong Park, winner of the 63rd Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition, with the Orchestra Regionale Filarmonia Veneta and conductor Donato Renzetti: already staged on 5 December in Treviso, this exceptional musical event reaches the Queen of the Dolomites, and it will successively be presented in Legnago.

“I was immediately enthusiastic about the project ‘Nell’Olimpo di Beethoven’”, explains the famous orchestra conductor Donato Renzetti, “because it involves young people, the soloists winning the Busoni Competition and the best students of orchestra conducting at the Scuola di Alto Perfezionamento Musicale (Top-Level Musical Training School) in Saluzzo. Starting from Treviso was also very special for me, because I have close ties with the city and the Teatro Comunale (Municipal Theatre), where I have conducted many times”.
