July sees the return of the eagerly awaited courses on wild mountain herbs open to all and organised by the Da Aurelio restaurant on the Giau Pass, with the participation of experts Heinrich Abraham and Michele Da Pozzo and talented guest chefs.

Once again this year there are four appointments to mark in your diary, consisting of an introductory lesson on the active principles of plants, a guided walk to Passo Giau, an aperitif in a mountain hut and, for those who wish, a dinner with an author's menu.

Tuesday or Wednesday, 2 | 3 July 2024

Botany and alimurgy | With the herbalist Heinrich Abraham, one of the leading experts on medicinal plants in Alto Adige, two courses dedicated to the study of spontaneous mountain herbs to discover their properties, active principles and main uses in the kitchen.

Tuesday or Wednesday, 9 | 10 July 2024

Environment and sustainability | With forestry doctor Michele Da Pozzo, director of the Natural Park of the Ampezzo Dolomites, two courses dedicated to discovering the biodiversity of the territory, understanding the problems linked to climate change and the peculiarities of the flora.
