Morning telescope observations? Yes: our Sun is very interesting!
A solar telescope is installed at the Col Drusciè Astronomical Observatory, allowing the public to observe the Sun in complete safety and admire the phenomena of the photosphere: sunspots, granulation, protuberances, etc.
Experts are available for a guided tour, an excellent activity especially for children and families.
Ticket 5€ per person, free admission for children up to 6 years old.
In the morning, the Col Drusciè astronomical observatory can be reached by the Tofana - Freccia nel Cielo cableway from the centre of Cortina, or by a 20-minute walk from Piè Tofana.
Open to the public from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., without reservation.
The observatory is open for sun observation only if it is clear.
