Sellaronda Ski Tour
A beautiful and exciting skitour close to Cortina d'Ampezzo.
The best place to start, coming from Cortina, is the "Piz Sorega" Gondola in San Cassiano but if you are an expert skier you can also choose to begin your ski tour from the Lagazuoi cable car.
The complete tour involves many miles of ski slopes and a lot of panoramic cable rides, all in one day across the Gardena, Sella, Pordoi and Campolongo passes.
The tour is suitable for medium level skiers, and is one of the most fascinating circular ski tours in the entire Alpine range.
Dolomiti Superski Pass is required.
Directions:
From Son dei Prade, in the Pocol zone of the Tofane ski area, the cable car Cortina Skyline takes you directly to the starting point of the 5 Torri chairlift (check the ski map and take into consideration that the gondola takes around 12 minutes). Bai de Dones can be reached by skibus from Cortina's town centre.
By car from Cortina’s town centre, take the road to the Falzarego Pass. After about twenty minutes turn left near the 5 Torri billboard to the Bai de Dones car park from where you can easily reach the chairlift.
