Hiking up the Col Gallina ski pistes, turn left just before the chairlift’s top station. Take the “Limedes” piste that slopes down on your right, and follow its entire length until you reach the skilift’s top station. From here, continue on easy terrain on which you will find and can view some military outposts dating back to the Great War, fought on the Dolomites between 1915 and 1918.

On prior booking, you can be accompanied by reenactors wearing the historic garments of soldiers from the First World War period. They will tell you anecdotes and stories dating from the years of the conflict.

The route may present difficulties linked to the conditions of the snow cover and the type of terrain.

It is always advisable to seek assistance from mountain guides and to check snow and weather conditions before any trip.
