Located in the Tofane area, Rifugio Duca d’Aosta, takes advantage of one of most beautiful views over the Ampezzo Valley. In the hot summer days you can relax on the balcony, while during the winter you can enjoy sledding under the moonlight. The menu offers several meat courses: mushroom and cheese with polenta and delicious potato gnocchi. To complete the meal, Gianluca recommends a glass of grappa infused with herbs and berries harvested on the fields and woods of Cortina. From the dessert cart, the tart with home made blueberry jam is a sure winner.
