Ice skating and curling can be practised at Cortina’s Olympic Ice Stadium in both summer and winter. Besides the30 m wide and 60 m long ice rink, the Ice Stadium has a bar, a solarium and a playground for children.
The Olympic Ice Stadium was built to host the competitions and ceremony of the 7th Winter Olympics, held in 1956 in Cortina.
In recent years, the building has been restructured with the addition of the roof, so that now it is a covered stadium.
The ice skating rink is open in summer as well as winter. Opening times can be checked clicking the “further information” box below. You can skate by yourself or learn all the tricks of ice-skating with qualified teachers.
The Curling Cortina association organises activities to approach this discipline, upon reservation. Take part in an introductory class, learn the basics of the game technique and try a match. The class lasts 2 hours and a minimum of 6 participants is required. Equipment rental, a qualified instructor, an insurance policy and a diploma at the end of the activity are included.
