Backcountry Skiing - Forcella del Pordoi

Forcella Pordoi, an amazing and frequented itinerary for freeride's lovers. This is the descent from Sass Pordoi (2950 m) to the Passo Pordoi (2239 m). This is not a difficult itinerary; for this reason it represents a good approach to many of our off-piste routes. The starting point is the arrival of the Passo Pordoi cable car. From here, descend to Forcella Pordoi (2835 m). This is the real starting point of the itinerary. The Forcella Pordoi is exposed to the south side, so you find the ideal snow conditions in the morning. Avalanches danger is low because of the slope structure; in any case check the avalanche bulletins before leaving.
