The tour of the Alpine huts with snowshoes

DifficultyEasy Length2 km Time0.45 min - one way BeautyBeautiful views on the Civetta and Mount Pelmo. A pleasant path under the sun.

The gravel road that leads to Malga Fontanafredda starts at the first bend after Forcella Staulanza if you come from Selva di Cadore, the last bend before Forcella Staulanza if you come from Val di Zoldo. If it has just snowed, the path may arise not pounded, articulated entirely along snowy pastures where in Summer the cows graze. The Alpine hut can be reached in about 45 minutes, this walk is not very long, it is perfect for those who want to spend a few hours in nature without great physical efforts.

The slight slope along the entire path makes it suitable for families.
Arriving at Malga Fontanafredda (1768 m) a large sunny space opens, where you can rest and sunbathe, on the other side of the valley you can see Malga Vescovà and admire Cima Coldai and the Civetta. The return is along the same path.
