Vito di Cadore, where we shot this film, is a beautiful place with enchanting nature. The people were very hospitable, they showed us cooperation from the first moment and that they were happy we were there, which is the ideal situation when shooting a film."
The film was made thanks to the contribution of the POC call - Programma Operativo Complementare al POR FESR 2014-2020 - Axis 3- of the Veneto Region and the support of the Veneto Film Commission. We would like to thank the "Cadore Dolomiti" Tourism Board, which took care of the reception and hospitality aspects for the cast and film crew, and the associated accommodation facilities.

For Chiara (10), every Christmas is an opportunity to see her beloved grandfather Lorenzo (Diego Abatantuono), owner of the delightful high mountain hotel that hosts the family's celebrations. This year, however, Chiara's parents, Alberta (Violante Placido) and Giacomo (Lodo Guenzi), have decided to drive up in the hot sun of the August bank holiday week for an unseasonal visit to Lorenzo, because they need him to tell Chiara the bitter news: they are separating.
