Start from Alleghe and take the cable car lift to Piani di Pezzè, then the new 8 seater cable car that goes to the scenic village of Col dei Baldi (1915 m). Get off the lift and face South and take the downhill to the right for about 550 m, to the junction for Col Fioret we head straight down for the dairy Malga Boi Vescovà taking precautions on a steep patch that is short but has a slippery, gravelly surface. After passing the dairy we ride on asphalt for about 450 m that brings us to the junction for Casera Fontanafredda, we take the left and once past the dairy we pedal on a short, slight climb towards F.lla Pecol; coming off the back of this we descend on a challenging tract for about 2 km and a 15% negative altitude change to the Point in Vizza Mareson, we go left to follow a tract about 500 metres long that is part dirt road and part asphalt under the forest called Bosco delle Foglie; coming out from here it is just a few hundred metres on asphalted provincial road SP 251 to arrive on the outskirts of the hamlet of Pescul. We continue for a little less than 3 km. On the main asphalt road to the point at Rova where we leave the main road to pedal 1 km. On the secondary asphalt road that will bring us to Zardin, we pass this point and follow this dirt road until in the village of Ru Ronc de Ciaval we come across provincial road SP 638 where we find asphalt again that goes to Passo Giau. From the curve we take the left to go down a few metres and then back up on an asphalt road that will take us to Posalz and we get here after 2.48 km, a small part of which is in descent but for the most part on a pedal-able uphill. We pass the waypoint of Posalz to go down to the village of Pian that is 1,36 km away, partly on asphalt and partly on dirt road (58%), then we continue on asphalt for a few hundred metres to arrive in the village of Fossal; from here we continue on a slight uphill on asphalt to the village of Colle di Santa Lucia. After passing through the village we continue along the main asphalt road for 3.60 km that goes a little downhill but then mostly uphill to the village of Colcuc; look for the right turn after the Belvedere to take the secondary road towards our waypoint. From Colcuc we take the dirt road that covers 2,22 km to bring us to the village of Col, and here we pedal along the historic road called “Strada della Vena” , + 146 m o f altitude change, past the point we continue on asphalt at first, to cover this stretch that is a little more than 4 km long, then pedal along a dirt path, gravel and single track to go back up to the point at Forzela at 1804 m and then down on dirt road and trail towards Sfessura, a long and challenging tract. We continue towards Canazei on dirt road for about 200 metres, careful on the 14% downhill gradient and pay attention to the trail with its negative 16% incline that in no time will bring us back to Colle di Santa Lucia. We cross the main road and pass under Villagrande pedalling downhill for the next waypoint, “Col de Foa” brushing by Rovei in a little less than 2 km at 15% between a hint of asphalt and the rest of the way on a white road we get to the point where we cross regional road SR 203 to take the little dirt lane that we can look for on the side of the road, taking this for about 1 km with a 14% gradient until we come to the houses in Caprile. Leaving this lovely village behind us we pedal on the flat asphalt of regional road SR 203 following the Cordevole for the last 4 km on via Nazionale to the outskirts of Alleghe where we turn right to pedal along the lake for the last few hundred metres to our arrival point.
