Val de le Ziolère

The “ de le Ziolere Valley”  lies under the  Coldai Rifugio, in the Civetta Group. Thanks to its exposure, it is possible to climb this dolomia cliff in the hot summer days.
The cliff is of Dolomia,  with good- quality holes and flakes. A part from the  central plate of dark rock, where the tracks are well  fixed and solid, the climbing is athletic on deep walls. The tracks are full of holes  and reverses, and the climbing is not always easy. At the foot of the wall there is a board with the tracks and difficulties. All the itineraries are equipped with 10 mm “spits” and stopping chains with dropping snap-hooks. Many tracks are even 30 m long.

: North-East side
. In summer the sun shine over the wall only in the early morning. The fields at the foot  are in complete sun till the late afternoon.
