Alleghe lungolago

An astonishing walk in the middle of nature passing along the lake of Alleghe and the canyon Serrai di Sottoguda at the foot of the Marmolada, the highest mountain in the dolomites. There are a few points of interest along this walk such as the santuary of Santa Maria delle Grazie and the iron and wood laboratory in Sottoguda. The starting point of the walk is in Alleghe, along the lake in the direction of Caprile. The path continues until you see a glimpse of the suggestive rope bridge that crosses the Cordevole torrent. Once you have crossed the bridge, you continue to the right in the direction of Santa Maria delle Grazie, where you cross the village. Continue in the direction of the cemetry until you meet the road that takes you to Caprile. From Caprile continue in the same direction towards the village of  Pezzè, and then you follow the road until you arrive in the villlage Sorarù. Once you have passed the village follow a path on your left that leads you to Pian de le Risce and continue till the village of Sottoguda. Once you have passed the village centre you walk through the gorge of Sottoguda that takes you to Malga Ciapèla.
