Hotel Montana is placed in the centre of the pedestrian precinct of Corso Italia in Cortina d'Ampezzo close to ski-lifts and cable cars as well as other important sport facilities. The Hotel ffers a dining room with view on the central road, a TV lounge with video games and a video library.
Moreover it has its own private car parking facilities and a ski-depot provided with all necessary devices for professional ski waxing.
Hotel Montana was approximately built in 1927. The first important modifications and extension works were carried out in 1937 when the hayloft and the stall beloging to the house in front of them, used as the annex of Hotel Cortina, were dismantled in order to remarkably enlarge the annex.
Since 1949, when the building started going by the name of Hotel Montana, other modifications have been made. Until 1989 it has been managed by the family Apollonio, now it belongs to the family Lorenzi.
