The refuge is always open and is thus ideal for those going up to the Giau Pass who wish to experience the mountain in all the seasons of the year.

The immense north wall of the Civetta dominates the view from its terrace suspended over the valley of the Codalonga River .

To one side of the refuge is the start of the Giau chair lift, which gives access to the 5 Torri, the Lagazuoi, the Badia Valley and the complete Superski circuit.

Although Ivan cooks with a passion, he will also be able to advise you of the best mountain bike routes and excursions around the open-air museums of the Great War or in those places where Mondeval man dwelled over 7000 years ago.

The lunar landscape and the snow-covered hills of winter are ideal for excursions on “cispe”, the characteristic shoes for walking on the snow.

If you want to admire the fiery sunset and the starry sky at a high altitude in this corner of Paradise , you can stay in one of the four rooms with bathrooms, decorated in a warm and cosy mountain style.
