Scoiattoli Refuge
Tel +39 333 8146960

Built in 1969 by the mountain guide Lorenzo Lorenzi, the refuge is still run by our family.

We are particularly proud of our panoramic terrace, from where you can view the climbers  in action on the walls of the famous 5 Torri.

The refuge is right next to the ski slopes and is in the immediate vicinity of the Great War Open Museum, where you will be able to walk along the restored trenches and emplacements.

We take particular care of our cuisine, with traditional local dishes and those of the Ampezzo area, revived in an imaginative way.

You simply must try our “Violette ai sapori del bosco” (“Violets with flavours from the woods”), a delicious home-made pasta flavoured with bilberries.

In winter you can experience a different kind of evening (by appointment only): an ascent to the refuge on the illuminated chair lift, followed by a typical dinner and a descent by sledge.

We are happy to accept groups. Come and visit us: we are easy to reach on foot or by taking the Cinque Torri chair lift.
