A renowned tourist destination in summer and winter alike, Auronzo di Cadore (alt. 864 m) winds through the forests and meadows of the Ansiei valley for more than 8 kilometres.
To the north the town is bordered by the southern peaks of Monte Ajarnola; to the south by the Lake of Santa Caterina, created in the 1930s after the construction of a dam.
The town's majestic backdrop is populated by such mountains as the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, the Cadini range, the Croda dei Toni, and the Corno del Doge. A paradise for skiers today, it was once the stage of World War I's toughest conflicts.

 Near to Auronzo di Cadore, Misurina is a small enchanting village a short distance from the feet of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo.
Known throughout the world as the Pearl of the Dolomites, Misurina is a popular winter destination for downhill and cross country skiing while in summer it offers hiking, climbing and its lovely natural lake.
Misurina is set at some 1754 m above sea level. With a mild dry climate in summer, with only occasional thunderstorms Misurina is ideal not just for winter sport but also for treating respiratory ailments.

The ski zone boasts 25 km of slopes from 900 to 2500 m and is part of the Dolomite Superski area >>>.
And to unwind after a long day of skiing, the town offers a number of Ski-Bars and restaurants along the slopes, where you can relish unforgettable moments with friends.
