From the Tofana mountains to Faloria, from Mount Lagazuoi at nearly 3000m to the Cristallo range, the Ampezzo basin with its valleys, grooves, ridges and forks is a dream for those who love off-piste and powder skiing, offering descents of incomparable beauty.
Routes of varying difficulty and length, guaranteed to satisfy skiers of all levels of technical ability and sophistication, can be accessed using the ski lifts.
It should be stressed that off-piste and freeride skiing must only be performed outside tracks of designated ski areas, and you must have the ability to assess the snow conditions. Always check weather conditions and make sure you are equipped with a small backpack containing an avalanche transceiver, probe and beacons.
It is recommended always to be accompanied by an alpine guide.
