In the 5 Torri area lay the headquarters of the mountain artillery unit.

Here were placed the batteries of cannons trained on the Austrian emplacements of the Lagazuoi and the Tre Sassi Fort.

You can now reach the trenches on foot or via an extremely rapid cabin chair lift.

Visit: free entrance; audioguides for hire, in Italian, German and English. At the start of the chair lift, there is a large car park and a public toilet.

Rise in height: 370 m

Routes: easy routes ranging from 15 minutes to 2/3 hours wind along the perfectly restored emplacements.

Information boards and museum displays illustrate the events of the Great War.

The museum can also be visited in winter by taking the Great War Ski Tour.
