Snowshoes - Hut Aquileia

This short hike starts near the last houses of the village of Pescul, you may possibly leave the car in the parking near the Skicivetta chair lift. Before an ancient barn on the left, you take this road that exceeds a slight plateau and leads to cross the Cordon stream along a walkway. Continuing on the left you will soon cross the cross-country tracks of Peronaz.

Being very careful not to damage the cross-country tracks, the trail climbs to the left. Mount Pelmo always in front of us makes us from driving along a forest of fir trees near the Refuge Aquileia overcome another bridge and soon we reach the hut. Here we can spend a few hours at the Refuge, take a few pictures at the small church of San Maurizio, and the majestic Mount Pelmo overlooking the plain where the cross-country skiers as we experience nature.
