Walking - Pescul - Aquileia: the path through the pastures

This excursion starts on the SR 251 State Road towards Passo Staulanza, just at the end of the ancient little hamlet of Pescul towards the Zoldo Valley, between two old but well-kept typical barns built in the typical Ladin/Cadorino style of the Fiorentina Valley; follow the sign “per Aquilieia”. Once you have crossed some green pastures, the path enters in a wood. Cross the little bridge on the Cordon brook, follow the sign and go towards the wide plains which in winter turn into cross country tracks. Carry on towards the crossway with a road which in a while leads to the green pastures of Aquileia, where the imposing and overwhelming wall of the Pelmo Mount is just over you.
