Via ferrata Francesco Berti, Sorapiss mount

Difficulty
Difficult
Time
Circa 7 ore
Start
Passo Tre Croci
Arrival
Bivacco Slataper

Long and difficult via ferrata, partially equipped with metal ropes and stairs, that links Vandelli Refuge to Bivacco Slataper.
Leave the car at Tre Croci pass and walk to Vandelli Refuge (1.926 m) in about 1,30 hour. Rise the dirty slope towards Tondi di Sorapiss, until you reach Sora la Cengia del Banco pass, 2.450 m. Cross the pass and go on walking on Cengia del Banco, on the side towards San Vito. Mind the narrow path and the rock jumps to climb. At the end of the via ferrata there are some metal stairs to rise in order to reach Bivacco Slataper, 2.670 m. The trip is about 7 hours walking.

See Tabacco map and ask information to the Alpine Guides.
