Delicious Slow Trekking

The Cortina Delicious area between the Giau and Falzarego passes in 24 hours together with the Cortina Mountain Guides.

Walk in the dark under the starry sky accompanied by the music of the forest. Climb at high altitude along the paths through the Dolomites. Stop at the Delicious Trail Dolomiti refuges ready to welcome visitors even at the most unusual times.

This is the proposal studied by the Alpine Guides of Cortina: a slow trek that aims to be a path of inner knowledge, a moment of contemplation of creation and reflection that will last from sunset to dawn the following day and will then continue throughout the day until the evening to make a real journey on foot among the most beautiful mountains.

All this in complete safety and calm, with no timetable other than the starting time and accompanied by Cortina's Alpine Guides, the area's leading experts.

The trail winds its way through the Delicious Trail Dolomiti area and touches all the Trail refuges.

The Delicious Trail Dolomiti aims to enhance the historical, natural, mountaineering and food and wine heritage of Cortina d'Ampezzo. The Delicious Slow Trekking will be a preview of the Delicious Trail Dolomiti. The atmospheres will change, however, because part of the trail will take place under the stars and by moonlight, but the traditional warm hospitality that has made the Delicious Cortina refuges, organisers of both events, famous will not change.

Where planned, participants will be able to stop and enjoy snacks, breakfasts and lunches while admiring the vault of heaven from sunset to sunrise and the wonders of creation from sunrise to sunset. Participants will find refreshments in the refuges encountered during the night.
