Downhill skiing, Cortina’s flagship winter sport, is in the very DNA of the resort. Cortina’s famous runs, which made the history of Alpine skiing with the 1956 Olympic Winter Games, several Ladies’ Ski World Cup races, hosted the 2021 World Ski Championships and will host the 2026 Winter Olympics along with Milan.

Cortina, the Queen of the Dolomites, offers snowboarders several options. Beginners will enjoy the slopes of Pocol, while the 5 Torri and Lagazuoi are ideal for more challenging runs.
Every winter, Cortina hosts Snowboard World Cup races on the slopes of the Faloria.
