Dolomiti Film Festival

The Dolomiti Film Festival is a film festival featuring an international documentary competition featuring projects from all over the world, meetings, and events aimed at nature conservation and the promotion of mountain culture and sport, with attention to inclusiveness.

The initiative takes place from 25 to 28 July 2024 almost entirely in Cortina d'Ampezzo, in the heart of the Dolomites, an area representative of the naturalistic wealth of the Veneto region, but also emblematic of the critical climatic situation of our times.

Through the screening of documentaries selected by the jury, we want to initiate a constructive dialogue on the environmental issues affecting the mountain regions of the globe, telling the stories of people living in these environments that are constantly changing due to climate threats.

The festival will include panels and special events involving experts, filmmakers, and mountain athletes, thus creating a platform for the exchange of ideas and expertise, which will foster the cultural development and growth of the local community and participants. On one evening Marco Albino Ferrari will be a guest.

Our team works to ensure wide and diverse media coverage, collaborating with national and international media partners to ensure optimal visibility.

Furthermore, the festival will seek to attract visitors from all over the world, helping to promote Cortina d'Ampezzo as a tourist destination of excellence and strengthening the ties between film culture and the beauty of the Alps.
