Trek4Mandela

By climbing a different European mountain each year, we want to create a community that shares the values of solidarity, gender equality, the fight against racism and the protection of the environment.

This is what drives the associations organising this charity and sports event: Artforlife.it (charity section of Artconsulting.net) and Imbumba Foundation.

On 6 July 2024, the summit to be reached will be the Tofana di Rozes, accompanied by mountaineer Mario Vielmo and para-athlete Massimo Coda.

The goal of Trek4Mandela is to raise funds to help girls in the poorest areas of South Africa.

Trek4Mandela is all about challenge because reaching the summit of Kilimanjaro, at 5,895 metres, is demanding and risky. On the other hand, the first edition of Trek4Mandela International is all about inclusivity. These are the two key aspects of Nelson Mandela’s civil struggles: courage and tenacity, challenge and patience.

The event is open to everyone.

The meeting point is scheduled for 6 July at 9:00 am at Rifugio Dibona.
